The Conclusion 70 Years Later

Elizabeth Short, an aspiring actress from Massachusetts, was displayed in a public field off a busy street bisected, mutilated, and drained of blood (“The Black Dahlia Murder”). Found by a young mother walking her child in 1947, Elizabeth became infamously known to the world as the Black Dahlia (Eatwell). Films, podcasts, documentaries, and several conspiracies have been made based on this twenty-two-year-old’s unfortunate fate. Though the case remains unsolved by official account, previous and current LAPD detectives, including his son Steve Hodel, know who killed Elizabeth Short – Dr. George Hodel (Hodel).
